Stalking allegations?

2 years ago my "best friend's" family accused me of stalking them.. The reason was that they didnt want me to be friends with em.. Well I'm not a stalker, and it really hurt me bad! SO i decided to leave from them, and totally ignore them.. Anyways 2 years later, that same dude is coming up to me and talking to me.. WHat should i do? should i tell him off for being like that? I mean I'm not a bad person, and when someone accuses you, it hurts..!
