What should i do? Guys only plz?

I used to hang out from time to time with this guy who is my neighbor, since he tried making a move on me and i didnt let him he hasnt talked to me since. He will be gone or maybe already left and will be back in 2 months. Im not sure if he has left cause i have not heard from him in almost 2 weeks. Do you think i should text him and see whats up? Or should i forget about him and if he want to talk to me or see me when he gets back then i guess he will? Btw i only like him as a friend.
