I am doing an Acer Factory Restore, do I need to uninstall all of my programs or can I leave them?

You don't need to uninstall anything, everything is going to be overwritten. You are doing a clean install of Windows when you do a factory restore. Do the windows updates before reinstalling your third party programs...just a tip.
