What is a paradox? I don't know.?

Well, I kinda have an idea, but idk what it really is. i mean, i've heard "This sentence is false." and That's a self contradiction cuz if the sentence were false, that would make it true. which would make if false. Is it a paradox? and if so, is it the only kind of paradox?
