Need help figuring out how to stop humming noise coming from hot water heat boiler?

My father's boilers in his house are making a loud humming noise after the pump kicks on? He thinks it sounds like it's coming from pipes in the wall going to second floor radiator. Does anyone (any plumbers) know how or what he can do to fix it?
