Is there some sort of pattern? Murder, Unapologetic, Sadistic, Lethal, Inhumane, Macabre?

I received an email from a friend asking my to see if I can find some sort of pattern to these 6 words. The words all describe bad behavior but is there a pattern of some sort, or some clue? i'm not very good with crosswords and puzzles types.
