I dropped my Nixon Coolpix S550. Do you think it will be fine? Are cameras fairly hardy?

I dropped it on a thin carpet, which is covering concrete. So it wasn't the softest of surfaces, but the camera hasn't seemed to malfunction any. I'm just checking to see if digital cameras, particularly this type, can tough out a few drops (Hoping there won't be a few drops)
